What we do

Our programme has something for anyone interested in geology, the Earth and planetary sciences. OGG’s lecture programme is one of the best for any geological society in the country, with monthly talks by eminent speakers. Our field programme lies at the heart of what we do. Monthly field meetings get us out throughout Oxfordshire, the UK and beyond. Training workshops help our members develop skills and acquire knowledge. Our programme is simply, second to none.
